While tasteless may not be high on ones list when it comes to social presence it will become desirable within the next couple of hours. The most abundant molecule on the surface of the earth also tastefully blends its way into every concoction we drink. Rarely do we scoop our own water from a pond or stream so when we turn the tap we prefer the colorless, odorless and tasteless liquid to be closest to a pH of seven, or neutral. Anything more or less might be considered unacceptable!
